I would think they'd essentially play it by ear. Japan is doing relatively well vis-a-vis COVID. Right now it only has about 5,000 known active cases. If that number continues to drop substantially UF might feel confident to venture into concerts again.

I'm sure that this has been financially devastating to UF but personally I love the level of access that we have been getting with all of these little home videos. Perhaps they should offer a convenient method for users to financially contribute, whether through the youtube "join" button or some other method convenient to domestic and international fans alike.

I would like to donate to help keep Upfront afloat and running again. Maybe some goods?

Will we have any concerts or events at all this year or is H!P going to have to reinvent itself for a little while?

This is not meant to be shady but maybe with respect to Moritaka and KAN it's because they're a little older and the conventional thinking is that COVID19 has been worse for older populations?

Best way to gauge when activities might return could be looking at what the competition does.

Very very limited prospects of perhaps, possibly restarting. Very tentative and advisory though.

Restart or not, something like a handshake event is for all intents and purposes dead, at least for a good long while.

H!P should just do what they have been doing even before the shutdown, send-offs at events while wearing masks, 6 feet apart barriers, more temperature checks and online signing events. With paid online concert events.

Japan has lifted the state of emergency for Tokyo and the rest of prefectures.

I just remembered how terrible the Mashup Labo song was (to the extent that I had to go look up what the group name was).

I'm still upset by how bad the song is.

Gahhhh.

The original news announcement of ANGERME Oota Haruka's suspension on the H!P site's front page has been removed after been up for these past 3 months. No official word on her status yet, but her profile is still intact.

^ With the lockdown in Tokyo being lifted and BEYOOOOOND's web series ending, it's reasonable to assume they're all going back to work, including her.
