Oh man, I hope both affected parties get well soon.

So, I read something on WaPo suggesting things to improve your WiFi speed/signal without necessarily having to pay extra per month. Most things we've already tried, like rebooting the modem/router, updating the firmware, etc. Our monthly payment has gone up since the 6 month promotional period is up. Switching to another provider isn't an option, either. Since we're so far out from things, our only option for internet is HughesNet. Or ViaSat, but they're somehow even
worse than Hughes.
Then they mentioned something called a mesh WiFi system. I'd never heard of one before. Amazon has their own, Google has their own, and Netgear has their own. Amazon gets enough of my money, and Google's price wasn't appealing, so I checked out the Netgear Orbi system. Read a lot of reviews from people like us and they all said their WiFi was faster and more stable. So I ordered one. It's coming today, and I'm really hoping it'll help with our crappy speed. We pay for 50Mbps and we're lucky if we get 10% of that.
