Today, BEYOOOOONDS and other award winners of the 61st Japan Record Awards attended a press conference. BEYOOOOONDS introduced themselves and were asked to give their thoughts on winning a New Artist 2019 Award. Takase Kurumi spoke on their behalf :

私達は令和元年の8月にハロー！プロジェクトというところで令和元年初のメジャーデビューをさせていただきました。「眼鏡の男の子/ニッポンノD・N・A！/Go Waist」というトリプルA面シングルの、とても個性的なCDでデビューさせて頂いたんですけども、今回このような素敵な賞をいただけること、本当に嬉しく思います。この素敵な機会を頂けたことに感謝して、そして支えてくださる、応援してくださる全ての方に感謝の気持ちをこめて、30日当日は頑張って私達らしくパフォーマンスさせていただきたいと思います。よろしくお願いします。

It is announced that BEYOOOOONDS and 3 other artists have each won a "New Artist of the year" award from the Japan Record Awards. With this, they are all automatically nominated for a chance to win the "BEST New Artist" award. The awards will be presented and announced live at the 61st TBS Japan Record Awards on 12/30 (5:30pm~10pm)
