So uh...

New Tsubaki single on the way anytime soon? Their last single was a decently long time ago and I've recently realized that out of current H!P they're the only ones I'm actually checking for. Angerme in a distant second.

No shade to the other groups, they just don't excite me or have the same catchiness to their songs lately.

You can tell Juice=Juice and Angerme’s additions were unplanned because they still haven’t added the new girls to the H!P website yet. Especially Juice=Juice since they were “announced” before Morning Musume. Any day now would be nice. Slap together some summer concert photos! You have them. It’s not hard.

The maturity gap between the new J=J members and the older girls feels a bit too big.

Like almost the same level as Maji Desu ka Ska.
I was really enjoying this current line-up and how we got songs like Sunao ni Amaete. Not sure if I feel comfortable with the new girls singing that.

But I look forward to seeing how they'll try and make it work. Fiesta Fiesta was a hit, so hopefully we get something good.

I feel like we are at the cusp of a wave of graduations especially around MM, Angerme, and Juice.

All of the "older girls" are in their early 20s and while KanaTomo has called BS on the 25 year old limit we still haven't seen it be completely not true so within the next three years or so we could be looking at the following graduate:

- Mizuki
- Ikuta
- Ishida
- Masaki
- Sakura

- Take-chan
- Nakanishi
- Murota

- KanaTomo
- Akari
- Karin
- Sayuki
- Inaba

Closest is Tomoko, but that’s next year since she just had her birthday. Everyone born in 1994 is officially gone from H!P and Tomoko is the only one born in 1995.

Ok so who is in the 1996 range? That seems like the danger zone territory. Is that everyone on the list ?

It's possible they used a different, better shot of her, but I think it's just the sort of face she has. She has such an intense, wide-eyed look that she'll always seem a little unreal.

Kudo Yume has the same deep penetrating state that Karin had when she was a newbie. The kind that just pulls you in and you can't look away.

Yup. In fact, I was going to say the same thing but I didn't because I get the feeling y'all are tired of my "fae sorceress" comments about Miyamoto.

(comments, not jokes. i'm not joking. she is a fae sorceress, and now Yume is her apprentice. beware.)
