For real. I wanted to do an Egg/KSS thread but some of the join/leave dates were conflicting depending on the site.

Kenshuusei will have a new system implemented. For Kenshuusei to debut in Hello! Project, they need to be able to keep track of their activity more closely. Thus they will organize them into "Kenshuusei in training units" selected from Kenshuusei and Kenshuusei Hokkaido. They will be checking on their future Kenshuusei activities and unit activities, and depending on the situation, members may be replaced.

The selected starting members are :
Yonemura Kirara (15), Ishiguri Kanami (15), Kubota Nanami (14), Kanemitsu Ruru (13), Saito Madoka (16)
The unit name of the 5 members is just "Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit" because the members are not fixed.

They will start on the 13th at the H!P Summer concert "Hello! Project 2019 SUMMER beautiful / harmony" and will perform like a real Hello! Project group and learn the same activities that Hello! Project groups do. We aim to improve their skills.

I guess they are testing the waters to see if these Kenshuusei have what it takes to debut. Or it's just another way of saying, we are making a new H!P unit out of Kenshuusei very soon, but we don't know who will be in it yet.

You can't fool us H!P / Upfront. We know you want to make a new group, but the Kenshuusei lineup is running low on members right now

Weird, but okay I guess. I immediately thought of Tomoiki without trees or an upgrade to the challenge acts, but I can't tell if it quite reads that way.

Seriously though, I've had enough of these new system/member announcements to last me for the rest of the year.

I guess they want to keep the "potential one" into more promising debut, rather than keep as usual where potential members may leave (due to disappointment).

When doing my kenshuusei research I noticed that the Eggs which formed in 2004, turned into Kenshuusei in 2012. And I was wondering if they would make any new changes since it’s been 7 years. I guess my theory was right.

Personally I think that the Kenshuusei should be divided by region similar to KSS Hokkaido. KSS Tokyo, KSS Osaka, KSS Nagoya and then have a KSS Fukuoka and maybe KSS Hiroshima (I’m thinking of where a lot of H!P talent comes from). That way they can do regional events and be the opening acts for H!P concerts when they are in the area. It would be a little AKBish but in a good way I think.
