As long as she's happy with what she's studying and she's enjoying life, that's good enough.
I think I've always assumed (as in had the completely indefensible and unfounded opinion, probably with a lot of very obvious projection thrown in) that she's very smart, and that she's got enough ADD (and probably dyslexia) to make her actual level of intelligence somewhat less than obvious (possibly even to herself).
And I know that ADD can get in the way of both academic performance and enjoying life in ways that can be mysterious and hard to deal with until you really start to understand what's going on, so I guess I just want to cheer her on in whatever she does.
