Katsuta Rina of ANGERME to graduate on 9/25

I expected Ayaka's graduation to open the Angerme graduation floodgates but am also surprised by how quickly it has come crashing.

Good for Rina though, she's been into fashion for quite awhile and its a logical/realistic step considering she is unlikely to make it just as an ex-idol talent.

Considering Wada announced her graduation a year before she actually graduated really kind of stuck the other members into this bubble they couldn’t leave out of loyalty to their leader. I’m sure they could have found an out but it would have been pretty shitty of them to do so. I figured Rina was next but I didn’t think she’d jump ship this quickly.

I honestly thought Kana would be first.

Announcement regarding ANGERME's Rina Katsuta

Thank you for your constant support for Hello! Project and ANGERME.
ANGERME's Rina Katsuta will graduate from ANGERME and Hello! Project on Sep 25 (Wed) at our concert at Pacifico Yokohama.

She offered her graduation from ANGERME for preparing for facing on her beloved fashion industry.
We concluded respecting her decision for her new challenge and let her graduate.

But we announced it this time for respecting Ayaka Wada's graduation.

I would like to tell something to you.

I, Rina Katsuta, will graduate from ANGERME and Hello! Project on Sep 25 (Wed) at our concert at Pacifico Yokohama.

I appreciate I can perform my last concert at such a big venue as Pacifico Yokohama.

I have acted for 10 years since my trainee period, 8 years in this summer since I joined ANGERME.

10 years ago my life, as a normal girl at age 11 with no experience of sing and dance, has completely changed.

I am filled with so many memories for 10 years. So much of good things and hard things as well.

I have experienced so much. I can't be more thankful.

Again and again, I have faced on myself, considered what I'm most interested in and to do in the future.
As a result, I decided to work in the fashion industry.

I have nothing to regret my activities until now and my mind is clear.
I have my dream and clear goal I want to achieve.
I decided it's the best timing for me to graduate at this time.

Actually, I consulted about my graduation already 1 year ago.

I continued discussing and decided when to graduate.
However, I have announced at this time because I wanted this announcement after Wada-san's graduation.

I will announce further plans as soon as these are fixed.

3 months to graduate.
I would like to be conscious and spend my time left as ANGERME with you all.
Please support until the last day.

They did it for Juice=Juice so I don’t see why they couldn’t pull it for Angerme. The single could be released in late August or early September. That’s the same amount of time that Juice had between their last two singles.
