Nakajima Takui: I wrote Taiki Bansei when I was 26 or 27 yrs old, and I was pretty convinced It’s a great tune. I made the producers listen to it each time I got to make my own album, but they all turned it down. In 2004 I transferred to Up-Front Agency and I met Tsunku-san, the producer Hashimoto, and Big Sis Nakazawa who praised it finally.

Nakajima Takui: I was informed by the staff in advance what kind of personality each member of Juice=Juice had, when I got to write the lyrics for the original version of GIRLS BE AMBITIOUS. Later, They all told me “I’m not like that.” Sayuki even complained to me “I’ve lost weight now. How should I sing that line about going on diet?” So I asked all of them to fill the questionnaire prior to rewriting the lyrics for 8 member version.
