From the clips I've seen, he did a damn good job of it, too.

I just saw another Japanese zombie movie, but this one has a gimmick that might interest the denizens of this forum:

Tokyo Living Dead Idol (2018) — Rising idol group TOKYO27区's star performer, Kamiya Miku (played by Asakawa Nana of SUPER☆GiRLS) is bitten by a zombie and has only 72 hours to find a cure, before she becomes a zombie herself....

Samurai Rebellion (1967)
Basically, tyranny sucks. Movie slow as molasses. Story could be told in 5 minutes. I noticed they had a “wall”, actually just a fenced gate on the road with a one-man guard. Wouldn’t let the guy out. So, a lot of people had to die.

I watched Searching today and I ended up thoroughly enjoying myself (way more than I ever expected to). I'll be keeping it saved to the DVR for my sister's next visit.

The Nightingale (2015)
A cute Chinese movie made by a Frenchman.
There is nothing like being lost in China with your granddaughter. :hehe:

Lucas (1986) happened to be on TV tonight, so I ended up seeing it for the eighth time. Corey Haim stars as the nerdy title character, who has a crush on Maggie (Kerri Green), the new girl in town. The cast also includes Charlie Sheen, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Jeremy Piven, and adorable 13-year-old Winona Ryder in her motion picture debut.

IDA (2014)
Too artsy and highbrow for me. The “chick” wasn’t even an actress but was found sitting in a Polish café reading a book. She took the job. XD

The whole movie in a nutshell.

I finally saw Shoplifters yesterday, and it was pretty good, but it didn't impact me the way Nobody Knows (which I really loved) did. I definitely want to see it again another time when I could appreciate it better though because I was in a weird mood (like I rewatched Legally Blonde after).

I haven't had a chance to watch more than a few snippets yet, but last night I got my "fantastic backer download" of Being Frank: The Chris Sievey Story, the new documentary about the Freshies' frontman and his papier-mâché-headed alter ego, Frank Sidebottom.

I donated ten quid to the project a couple of years ago, so my name is in the credits. :) A couple of names away from mine on the list is one Barry Cunliffe. Could it be the Barry Cunliffe, noted archaeologist and authority on the Celts?
