You might have heard on the news, but Seattle's having a sudden bonkers snowy winter. This area normally gets one or two little 2-inch snow events per year. I live somehwat southeast of Seattle, at around 450 ft in elevation. So anyway, on Friday I left work early to race the snow storm home. Fri we got about 4 inches. Then Sat/Sun/Mon each had their share of snowfall (I was unable to go to work on Monday due to snow/ice, etc), and we were up to about a foot of accumulation when we went to bed last night.. Then this morning, I woke up at 2am to a power outage. Went outside to get firewood for heAT, and found a fresh foot and a half of snow (on top of the foot we already had from the previous days). We're talking up to my knees. Power didn't come back until 2pm and it snowed almost all day. I did a whooole lot of shoveling and splitting wood... I'm exhausted. Going to bed at 8:30PM tonight. ^^;;;;
