Not just younger than the average age of BeriKyuu, but almost as young as the youngest member of BeriKyuu. Bwa-ha!

But seriously, too young for me. My interest was waning already, now… eh. Between MM and S/mileage, that's 12 new girls in less than a year. It's too much for me.

I know, I am not comfortable with the ages either, but hey Haruna who is 16 got in. I can live with that. The new girls look interesting and as much as I don't like their ages Haruka and Riho are talented.

eh, it's fine with me. i've had all the years of my fandom (since 2005) to get used to the idea that as Berikyuu get older, Momusu gets younger with each addition. it's just the nature of each group, and while i still twitch when i realize my most beloved era is now over for good (and my favorite member along with it ), i enjoy keeping up with how groups evolve and Morning Musume in particular will always be close enough to my heart for me to want to follow them. i do well with new additions too, since i like learning names and knowing all the details about new members.

the only thing is that S/mileage was kinda ruined for me. DD: i'll get used to it but doubt i'll ever love them as much.. this must be how old school fans felt about the new reincarnation of Tanpopo when that was totally changed. it's TECHNICALLY the same group, but it's too radically different in too little a time. my old S/mileage is dead, i'll have to learn to like them as a different group.

Totally. I have been a fan since 2003 but didn't start actually actively caring until 2005. I hold the memories of old MM close to my heart like me first love but I let it be the past and embrace current MM like the promise of a better man/love lol.

I agree again. S/mileage to me is different from all other H!P groups. There is something so fresh about the original group, and even though I don't really like their sound (voices to high & sweaky) I appreciate their image. That's all down the craper now. Those new girls don't fit it at all and the group should of stayed small IMO. Oh well embrace the future!

In my case it's not really the age, but the fact that I simply don't care about most of them. Out of the 12 girls we got this year, I only like Mizuki and Takechan (and probably Haruka). They're all eggs anyway.

I'm almost done with Morning Musume, but I admit I was never a big fan in the first place. And while my S/mileage fandom took a big hit with my favorite member leaving, I still like Dawa, Yuuka, Kanon and Takechan a lot, so I'll be okay. They're still my second favorite H!P group and will probably take over once Berryz is over.

Morning Musume feels so alien right now, but at the same time, not exactly fresh and new. I'll need time to get used to it.
