Here we are happy to announce the bestselling items in 2018 at CDJapan! In this chart, we have tallied up the numbers based on two simple rules:
Eligible items are products released between January 1st and December 31th, 2018
Sums up sales figure (as of November 21, 2018 / incl. pre-order) of editions/versions of the same title
Only in this special chart, the products will not be separately listed by its genre/format/category. All in all, this ranking is the real Battle Royale!

We will update this page weekly announcing 20 products each in descending order (100-81 . . . 40 - 21, 20 - 11, and . . . TOP10!), while we share your guesses through short vote games via our twitter (follow us!). Also, we've made a special Spotify playlist for this feature, and will update related songs accordingly!

I really like Takechan and Nakanishi, but I would be totally fine with all 3 leaving. I think once Ayaka's gone we'll be seeing another grad. Maybe Rina?

On a somewhat related note, I'm just waiting for everyone in 9th-11th gen to graduate from MM。so that I can enjoy the group again lol. I know it won't happen any time soon, but I can see either Fukumura or Ayumi graduating next year. That said, everyone in MM。will be at least in their last year of high school come April 2019 so anyone's fair game at this point. I wonder if the two that graduate from high school soon (Maria and Yokoyama) are thinking of leaving around the same sort of time... I hope not, but with Yokoyama at least she's been through quite a bit recently so it wouldn't surprise me. I can't imagine Maria leaving yet.

Also I feel like we'll be seeing a 1st gen J=J grad soon. Karin's been in H!P for 10 years now so she might be thinking about it. Or Yuka, since she's the same age as Iikubo and Ayaka. Knowing my luck it'll be Tomoko, lol.

My guess is they'll be revealed either at the countdown concert or the first day of the winter 2019 cons.
