Now, how does everyone want to see them proceed?

Do they tough it out and stick to five members?
Or should they start 2018 by adding a few new ones?

On the one hand it's always fun when there are new members, on the other hand sticking to five has a certain historical significance.

They are of course going to add new members next year. But it will be interesting to see what they will add to the group. I do find it remarkable that they are now down to just the 5 strongest vocalist of the group (maybe even in H!P). They could really do something with that, aim for a bit more complex mature vocal songs. More songs like Kobushi no Hana for example. If they do this they will have to add some of the better vocalist from the KSS.

I would like them to stay as 5nin because I prefer smaller groups, and also because all of the other H!P groups have gotten so big, it will help to distinguish them from the herd.
But realistically I can't see them not getting a 2nd gen next year.

I think its understandable they had to let her go. People weren't letting this go and with what's happening at the moment they need to do some serious damage control so it'd be better to start on a clean slate. They were already trying to fix things before on TGL but even then it got worse.

I'm not really sure how they can comeback from this but I'm looking forward to it. I really hope that if they do add kenshuusei, that they add girls who want to be in the group or at least like the group like Hashimoto Momoko.
