That's an odd thing that came out of nowhere.

Not really nowhere. The Up Up Girls have worked with the DDT promotion for a while and had some of their wrestlers in the Party People Alien video.

I wonder if any of the Ice Ribbon girls will try out?

I just heard from a member of a Japanese Pro Wrestling online group that DDT is creating a sub-promotion that will include the wrestlers who win this audition.

(I still think that Mori Saki and Saho Akari would make an intimidating tag team.)

From their official channel: the entire "One Day Late Konatsu-paisen Celebration Special"!

It's part FC event for UUG(2), part birthday event for Konatsu. It's "one day late" because Konatsu's birthday was June 5 but the event was June 6.

A message for TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2017…

The festival was Sunday in Kochi. Here's their live performance on stage with TEAM UUG (i.e., fan volunteers)…

Fancam from the front row – better quality but worse angle…

Also, in the parade, although I don't know if this was before or after the stage performance (probably before)…
