I think I'm going to watch the first episode of PD101 season 2, but the switch to male idols really made my interest dip drastically. I just don't care about 99% of male Kpop groups, and in general even outside of Kpop I care far less about male groups than I do female groups. I understand why they swapped it over for it's second run but, man, what a downer.

There is still one final screening left before she becomes a 1st gen member, but the main part is done.

Speaking of Cuca, she suddenly looks more mature in her latest performance than even a couple weeks ago.



As for her singing, well, she can hit all the right notes but her voice still has a grating quality when she reaches for the high notes. I don't know if that will ever go away.

Jang Moon Bok is currently the favorite to win because he's some what a meme + trolls plan to vote for him.

Hell yeah I'll be watching this. I tend to favor female idols, but Produce 101 was so fun to watch last time, this will probably be the same. The male Pick me is so much better omg.

On Cuca - I think she has this on lock. Not only does she have a built in audience, she grew up to be quite the singer and dancer. I expect her to get picked and hope she gets to ace status.

Re: Cuca: Those are the 44 finalist. The final round in just in case any of they missed a girl that isnt qualified or has some shady past. She even said in her blog that she's not a first gen member yet. But just like you said, she's pretty much in.

Re: P101: Well, one thing for sure is that this season is already scandalous. There were 3 bullying accusations (one of them was legit and the guy left the show), one guy plagiarized BTS V's signature choreo, there is a G-Dragon impersonator, and one is currently being bullied at school. Man, it's probably too much before the season starts.
