Watching the trailer for Cheerfu11y again, I'm struck by how Kikka has a classical "heroine" look about her. Bright-eyed, clean-cut, optimistic, guileless. She even has the heroic posture at 0:48.

And then 1:07… *melt*

She could go a long way with this sort of role, and it works because that's her natural personality. I'm starting to see why Universal is so interested in her.

After her first single and her movie, 3 months have already passed. On October 5th, You Kikkawa will have her second single : Hapirapi ~Sunrise~. She worked on the recording of this new song and the MV as well.
For the promotion, Universal made a meeting to think about the promotion of this new single.
This new song is a song for the morning, which made them think about a new concept Asadoru (Asa + Idol and Asa means morning). So what is the meaning of being energic, feeling good in Japan?

Finally after many hours they fixed a promotion plan. So they finally introduce it to You. The young girl is wondering, what will she do this time? One of the staff answered asadoru, this new concept. After some explanations, she likes the word and find that the concept is cool and kawaii (cute).

Following this, they introduce one of the part of the promotion plan : asagao (Japanese morning glory plant). She will have to take care of this asagao everyday then take picture of it and mailing it to her fans. She is a bit afraid, is she able to do it?

The next part of the promotion is the "Rajio Taisou" (which means radio physical exercises, Rajio Taisou refers to famous warm-up calisthenics broadcasted every morning for Japanese people). Because she is an asadoru, it has also its own meaning. The staff asks her to think about some exercises, created by herself, alone, with no teacher. To succeed in this project, a special Rajio Taisou version of her single Hapirapi ~Sunrise~ has been composed: Hapirapi Taisou!!

And she has to create special exercises for Hapirapi Taisou right now, which surprises her.
She begins to think about some movements and propose them to her staff.
