I always though Sou Ja Nai was good, I dunno why people didn't like it.

1. Maria was very cute there. I'm worried that with that song being so blatantly about her that she's going to get some backlash however. Still, she was cute and she's working on getting less robotic in her movements.

2. Haruna Ogata is really Harunan 2.0 hahaha. She's getting better at dancing, it's fun watching her grow.

3. NOT ENOUGH MIKI. WHERE IS MY MIKI?

4. What the hell is going on with Sakura and Eripon lately? Holy Moly they look RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. Not that they weren't pretty before.

Can you tell 12th gen is growing on me?

YES! That performance was so good!

This performance, seeing her live, and the fancams just show how charismatic and eye-catching she is and that's what makes her such a good centre. I think her only main criticism would be that her singing tends to fall flat, but she's steadily improving and a lot better than other big idol group centres.

I love the choreography for Sou Janai, the air clapping thing is so cool and I love Maria's solo dance bits. Can't wait to see the PV tonight. I love how glammed up and pretty everyone is.

Somehow Maria's singing was much less jarring against everything else in the live performance, and I like the dance a lot. So often I wish they were still doing dance shots regularly, and it's no different here. Maria's wink was cute enough but doesn't rival the wink from "Happy Summer Wedding". I'm probably going to re-watch that live a few times tonight.

I always though Sou Ja Nai was good, I dunno why people didn't like it.

I was indifferent at first, but hearing it clearly in the preview and now in the performance I'm really enjoying it. This single so far seems like a winner for me.

3. NOT ENOUGH MIKI. WHERE IS MY MIKI?

Out of 12th gen, I'd rather more Akane - even if Miki would make more sense for this song.

I can't stop laughing at how hard they tried to make it a storyline PV.
They tried it. Can't believe there's a whole extra minute to the PV on the single version.

Also I would've preferred an alternative dance shot setting than the individual ones. I think I'm really tired of individual dance shots now.
I love the first half still but the second half is too over the top haha.

This is absolutely the type of song I end up humming in the shower without even thinking about it.

I liked the effects they used throughout the video, especially the little energy bursts during the solo dance moments, and I really enjoy the brightly colored wall in the dance shot setting.

The video was so visually appealing I had to watch it twice to catch the subtitles - I just kept looking up to take in the view.

I loved the solo dance shots, they were really reminiscent of Kimagure Princess's solo dance shots - including using an element to enhance the hand movements (Fire for KP, Wind for Sou Janai). The effects on the close up shots were REALLY cool without being overdone. The cinematography was TOO good, man.

Also, Ogata Haruna is an awkward skinny little thing, but when she's on she's FUCKING ON. There were shots there where she was STUNNING. Can't wait to see how she progresses as an idol.

Production values of H!P's videos have gone way up this year, I wonder why.
