Maria's singing leaves just a little something to be desired (feels too flat against the rest of the singing, which makes it stand out), but I'm really enjoying the the song. Some of the vocal pairings and lines are particularly pleasant.

"Sou Janai" is such an uninventive, boring song. Perhaps it's their worst A-side of all time. It's a shame, but Tsunku has truly lost his touch.

I don't think Tsunku lost his touch. Sexy Cat proves that. That song is lyrically amazing. This song just feels phoned in. Like they asked him to do something and he just copy pasted something together and it's just not his best.

Well, it still sticks to my head like glue, especially the intro.

Yeah, it's not a bad song , it's on level with most of the singles that MM has been outputting lately. The other two are just much stronger for me personally. Sexy Cat is strong like Utakata was, while Mukidashi is just such a good song that it's one of the strongest songs to come out since Wagamama Ki no Mama. Sou Janai does get stuck in my head a lot, though, and it's pleasant to listen to. As I said before, it would have been such a good album song, and probably would have been one of my favourites if it had been.
