I Think Yuuka can Sing . It's Just the tone of her voice that can be whiney Sometimes. And Kanon has her moments..Like this:

Kanon and Saki were the best in S/mileage as they debuted. Saki was the best over all.
But that doesn't mean that Yuuka and Ayaka are bad. Ayaka is the worst in S/mileage, yes. But even so she's not that bad.

Meimi is awful, however.

Saki was definitely my favorite voice in S/mileage. Now I guess it's Kanon

Same here. But I don't like what Kanon is doing with her voice sometimes (Koi ni booing buu! and onaji jikyuu... she sometimes sounds whiny when doing live). I wish she'd stop that.
I really do love Yuuka's tone to her voice though. She has a quite thin voice unfortunately but I really love how characteristic it is.

I actually love Yuuka's voice for what it is because when you hear it, you immediately know it's her xD
It's so unique even though it's not the best~
I personally used to like Kanon's voice just until they released their first album.
After that, I think she started to force herself to sing in a cute way and she never masters her live performances... Too bad

Sakitty will forever be the lost vocal-gem of S/mileage.

So, today I saw all the new members, I even shook hands with them (tomorrow again, yahoo!).

What I really noticed was that Akari and Rina are the eggs and Meimi and Kana the new girls. With the training they already had they seemed a bit more reserved then the new girls who are very young and a bit more outgoing. Since I also went to the eggs concert last weekend I could see the difference with Akari and Rina between the 2 concerts. At the egg concert they seemed a bit more confident, since they were basically the senpei and today they were just the submembers. They have to transfer that confidence from being the main eggs to be main members of S/mileage.

Meimi and Kana did do a good job at performing, their dances were good. The voices, well they are still young. But if I compare the current voices senior members in S/mileage with the voices of 2 years ago it's also a world of difference. We will only really know in a due time when their voices have aged a bit more and also have more recording and performance mileage behind them.

In my opinion all of them can join, I can't really say that I don't like any of them.
