That's about half what Boogie Woogie managed, unfortunately. A substantial drop.

You'd think it's maybe the loss of Manakan fans, but I don't think so. I think it's just the single was announced too fast, around a month before release, which left fans unprepared to take the time off to attend release events (as far as I heard from the travelling fans I met at the events).

Many of the events were smaller-scale talk events featuring a few of the members - meaning very small audiences at some events. I feel like they were trying hard to bring fans out repeatedly, offering signed item giveaways and all.

However there are also the boxset sales to consider and when considering it was the standard 6 per box then yes it is somewhat low...

All of which implies that we should care less about the daily ranking and more about the weekly ranking. For all we know, there could be a huge bump tomorrow as they switch over from pre-release events to actual, post-release sales. Or not. Following the day-to-day fluctuations is like riding a rollercoaster in the dark.

I recall something like this happened with (edit: sorry it was ANGERME not KF) one of ANGERME's recent singles. The first day sales were markedly lower than normal, but the rest of the week turned it into an excellent week. We'll have to see if this repeats with Country.

At any rate I still have the dates for the initial announcements of this single & the last. (This might be off by a day because I'm in Canada but,)
This single: Announced AUGUST 17, released SEPTEMBER 28 - 42 days to release
