As much as I would be totally cool with Karin in MM, her being cast in that play really does seem to say that she won't be there for MM. If Tsunku knew he would be putting her in as 10ki, he wouldn't have allowed her to be in a play so soon after the join date when it's so important to make MM appearances and bond with other members, etc.

Well, or it could be that he knows he's putting her in the group and still puts her in the play as plays is something Musume does as well. Sure she replaced an egg, but that doesn't mean anything really. Some members (most lmao) will be doing a play in October (or was it November?) and some members aren't in that? Reina had her own play? If anything, putting Karin in the play and then accepting her into MM, I can see more people going to watch it. But I don't know~ A play won't make her busy 24/7 or anything. If anything she'll be the most busy before the play and other people have dealt with that while being in groups, so.

I just meant that it might be a lot for her, being new to MM and having to learn a bunch of dances and songs and all. Not that you can't be in a full-time group and also a play.

But they won't have a spring tour coming up though. They'll have a single, and the H!P concert, which rehearsals start for in December when the play is anyway.
10ki will definitely have a hard time, but compared to 9ki they won't join just before a tour so I think it's safe to say everything won't come at once?
