Instant Morning Musume classic. Riho is an artist in an idol world, (not unlike Aya Matsuura) She gives chills. Feels like Riho's true style has never been displayed before. We will be pleasantly surprise by her in the near future. Can you believe this kind of sound and delivery is coming from idol pop? Tsunku is delivering this jam with an almost Kazumasa Odaish groovy sound, and emotional aesthetics. I feel like Riho has shown her fellow Morning Musume members how to dance a groove with their souls. Yay Happy Fan.

I bet nobody noticed that the Japanese lyrics in One and Only are singable to the song. They purposely made the lyrics in a way that Japanese people could sing it with different lyrics if they wanted to! (though they're slightly different from the english.)

^ The song wasn't originally written in English though so you could say the "translation" is actually Tsunku's original version.

The song was made to be in English, but Tsunku definitely didn't write those English lyrics himself. He wrote them in Japanese beforehand and had them translated by ALISA. There's no reason why he would have written them in Japanese without taking the melody into account as he's also the composer.
