Favorite/Best Singers in MM. (arbitrary and preferential)
*Not counting 12ki because the only one who I could comfortably say I've heard sing is Nonaka
1) Maa-chan
There's a strength and charisma to her voice. She's shown that she can very easily imitate other H!P singers. I think she has taken a lot of what her favorites do and turned it into her own style. There's definitely a Reina-esque aspect to her singing style. I'm really excited to see where she goes, I only see an upward trajectory for her.
2) MizuPon
Chameleon. Celedam and I have talked about this multiple times but she has a very Kamei Eri-esque aspect to her. She's not necessarily distinct but her voice molds well into virtually any song. She also has enough control that she's consistent in performances.
3) Rihoriho
She may no be the most consistent... But inherent charisma adds to a lot.
4) Duu
There's some depth to her voice. If not for the fact that H!P tends to have higher octave songs, Duu would do really well. There's layers to her voice that I think would do really well with the post-Golden, early-Platinum era songs e.g. she would probably do pretty well taking Yossi , Mikitty, and Gaki-san's lines.
5) Zukki
Has a decent voice but lacks the charisma that Maa and Rihoriho have. Additionally has consistency issues that she doesn't recover quite as well from.
6) Sakura
Seems to only have one tone. Slightly deep, slightly nasal, slightly serious. I don't know if it's that the only lines she gets are the ones that take advantage of this or that this is the only tone she can pull off. Sakura might have a wide range but as of yet she hasn't exhibited anything other than the ability to belt lines the since she got those line's in "Help Me".
7) Harunan
She might've started off "talk-singing" but her performances as of late have shown vast improvements and a depth to her voice. I was freakishly scared of her ability to sing "Sayonara Tomodachi..." by Gocchin but she did a pretty good job. Harunan will never be the best singer in an MM. line up but decent enough that she gets a line here and there.
EriPon
There's a depth but all her lines are one dimensional. It sounds like she's trying to sing. EriPon likely won't ever lead a song. I find it appropriate that she only gets a word here or there.
9) Ayumin
Easily one of the best dancers in MM. but... Completely lacks any depth to her voice. Every line she receives seems one dimensional and grating to the ears. Is completely overshadowed by Rihoriho who may be inconsistent but has a depth to her voice and dances on-par if not better than Ayumin. I'd be okay with Ayumin being a visual center but cringe every time she receives a line.
