The running joke could be that when they go on TV shows the host could ask them who the group leader was.

Now, this can be improved by adding what they are boss of. For example, Kudo could be Oyabun of Attitude Haruka.

High School Idol Musical

Suzuki Kanon sees some older girl that she doesn't know randomly dancing in the rain. So moved is she by this performance that she decides to enroll in the St. Harmony Gakuen, the top school in the country for training girls to be in the musical theater or for being idol singers. On her first day she goes through many strict auditions. To her horror she finds out that most of the incoming class will not make it to the second year, and that everyone in the first year is in a competition. Based on the results of the auditions the incoming freshmen are put onto five girl teams. The teams will compete against each other twice during the school year and each time the half of the teams will be cut and the members of the losing teams will be sent home. While most of the teams will have a faculty member as a coach, five of the teams will have one of the all powerful and prestigious student council members coaching them.

When the results of the auditions are announced, Kanon is surprised to find out that her team will be coached by one of the Student Council members, Wada Ayaka. Kanon is even more surprised to find out that Ayaka was the girl she saw dancing in the park. However, Kanon's surprise gives way to horror when she finds out that Ayaka is the school rebel and had chose five of the lowest ranking students from the audition! Is Ayaka even going to properly teach them or is this some game where only Ayaka knows the rules?

In any event, Kanon and her team mates, the shy awkward Nakanichi Kana, the surly Takeuchi Akari, the haughty Katsuta Rina, and the quiet eccentric Tamamura Meimi, must overcome their egos and mesh together as a team or they will be surely be sent home.

One feature of the "show" High School Idol Musical is that the characters will not only randomly break into song, they will randomly break into music video.
