I think that as long as Tsunku is involved in the music he will be very much involved with Hello! Project. Just not as the executive producer who is involved with pretty much everything from start to finish. I have no doubt that he will at least stay like an adviser for life.

It's going to be interesting to see what his involvement will be with the next Morning Musume audition when it's happening.

I think the greatest difference will be seen with the girls. Before now I got the feeling that even more than a producer, he was a parental figure for the girls. Some would even message him often for advice and things (I think I remember Harunan being mentioned as). 12th Gen are the last group of girls Tsunku has had a hand in. Country Girls, ANGERME 3rd Gen, and of course the groups created post graduation aren't his, and I feel like I can tell the difference.

Being a parent to 30+ girls, writing all their music AND producing... that's a lot of stress and time away from his family. He has creative freedom now and time for other things now.

But truly the end of an era...
