Better. I still don't like it. Too much grey background. And you should put a black border around the names. They blend into the outfits too much.

+Kyu, I love your banners! I'd never think of doing designs like that, I'm too conventional lol.

CBerryz, it's sad but yeah the generic looks best It's a nice idea in theory though... I wonder if maybe having the names be unobtrusive would be best (sort of like how the names are just listed out in the magazine scan I used for the MM'15 banner) It might not be as obvious as having member colors and having them on the girls, but graphically it would look better. It's a thought at least.

I'm sure that someone with more skills would be able to add a great looking text for the names, and it would look much better. But because I am not skilled in this area, I can't, so it looks bad.
also, I'm still sitting here all over +kyu's designs.

^Lol I've just had a lot of practice. I started editing and making icons/banners in like 7th grade and it's been... like 14 years since then (I also majored in graphic design but that has very little to do with my editing sense lol except maybe in photos. Most of my photo editing tricks I learned in class..)

Anyway using the powers of Content Aware and the Clone tool, I attempted to make a banner using those great scans Denki offered up.



I think it came out all right all things considered I think unless you know there was, you can't really see where the gap is..

^Sorry ~~~~ I'm totally on Summer Break right now so I have time to obsessively make banners There is also the added fun of never knowing if a banner will get added or not because I enjoy torturing myself 8D

And, like you said, maybe not having them colored actually makes it better.

Also for the TF one, since you put the names in order, it still makes it really helpful!

I'm taking graphic design hopefully as maybe a minor in college... maybe in a few years I'll be able to contribute properly.

Now imagine you don't know any of the girls at all, and that's the banner. As you scroll by, you notice one of the girls' names. Just one. And then each time you visit (probably, let's say once or twice a day...) you see a different name, or the same name, and eventually it clicks!

...Especially when you make it eye-catching.
