You, Kaye, and Craig were smart not to go beyond 2 songs in a row, as well as space out your songs.
I had two 3 in a rows and one 4 in a row, which was mostly in the beginning (when we didnt have a fifth member to take turns) and my throat did hurt at one point but not so bad.
But Kylon (321BreakinOut), on the otherhand, has one 3 in a row and THREE 5 in a rows. Clearly the power house singer of the group, Oda purple as his member color for a reason (≧∇≦)b

Ah, sorry. It's a very well-organized list of a ridiculously large number of songs. XD

LOL!
It really wasn't hard. :)
Since many of the pairings appeared a few times, I just copy pasted a bunch of them.
Didn't take more than half an hour. :P

It's easy to understand what I wrote though, yes?

Now the task for "Enjoy Your Sound USA" begins anew.

My take from how I did at the Karaoke thing is that I need to do better at finding the right
range to sing in for each song. This involves:

* figuring out my "comfortable" range
* finding out the range of a particular song
* using Audacity to pitch shift the vocals of the song into my comfortable range
in a way that is compatible with the music
* using Audacity to tempo shift the result into "Slowest" "Slower" and "Slow"
versions for practice

(of course, if there are real music instructors here they are probably banging their heads
and wondering why I don't just learn to sight read Japanese and learn to sing better).

resop, here are my recommendations for you, as I see the troubles you're having:

Don't pitch shift the vocals to a key that is comfortable in your range, because then you won't be able to sing it in the range of the Karaoke, if it's too high. Just try to sing it in that pitch, and worst case, you don't hit certain notes.

So when you go to audacity, just do a tempo change, as you said, not a pitch shift.

Also, you were saying how you have issued with figuring out where the accents go on certain words (like aiSHIteru vs aishiTEru) so I was thinking, maybe you should use accent marks to denote where the accent should go for each time?

btw, if you wanna know your range, then sing the lowest note you can comfortably.
Take that note, and match it to this keyboard:
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resourc ... sic/piano/
whatever note that is, that's your lowest part of the range and then do the same with your highest note, and then you'll find out what your range is.

And then when you pick songs to sing, see if they fit into your range. Sometimes songs are right at a "sweet spot" where they don't fit in any of the octaves you can sing in, so try to avoid those types of songs.
Either that, or learn to sing in those difficult keys, which takes practice.

:)
Hopefully by next time you'll have more songs, too! :D

I overestimated how well I did this Karaoke. I thought I was loud and clear but I was really quiet and unclear(shaky voice). Also sounded dead lol

I'll try to work on those somehow, but karaoke was loads of fun!!! Great songs, company, and had some funny moments (≧∇≦)b

I know I said it before but I really do think you're improving really well resop2! Before you had issues catching up with the tempo but this time you don't fall behind much! Also, pronounciation was, imo, a lot clearer this time around.
