Nope, that last one works. It doesnt auto play like GIFs do, and you also need to manually turn the sound on.

That's a great clip but I disagree that they went from rivals to friends. Rival doesn't mean your enemy. It means someone you don't want to surpass you. They can be friends and rivals at the same time...some might say that's the best kind of friendship. Plus it's not like it's they're singing together out of the blue because they're besties. It's a duet they learned for a concert.

I think what otaku_blue might have wanted to say was that, before, Maachan was striving to be a better singer by kinda looking up to or looking at Oda as an example, but now, she's reached a level where she can duet with Sakura, as her close friend, and close rival.

No, it does not. It plays a couple of times, but then when I turn the sound on the sound will play and maybe two or three frames of the video will play and then freeze. This seems to be happening to all Vines for me now.

Logically it's not Vine that's somehow changed, but your system. Try a different browser and see if you have the same issues.

Well, apparently, firefox and vine have always hated each other and even the about:config
tweek recommended does not stop the vines from playing like crap.
