I always wonder when recent (latest!) releases go on sale so soon after release, especially first press limited editions. I worry that they produced too many units, because their forecasts are based on previous sales but sales overall are declining.

^ And in the case of MM。'15, if CDJapan was estimating sales of the first post-Sayu single based on the sales of Sayu's graduation single, it's not surprising that they preordered too many copies.

I need H!P to stop making costume keychains cause I'm running out of room now, thanks. Also now they are making pins! It's like they know my weaknesses and are exploiting them. TvT

In other words, I'm now the proud owner of a crap ton of keychains and pins of costumes.

Back when AKB48 was the only one doing the4 costume keychain thing, this is how I displayed them. (This is an old picture, I now have more.)


But the H!P ones just came like a wrecking ball and of course I HAD to have all of them. Since god forbid I support only 1 group. @u@

This is also a little outdated, I have more. Including the oversized ones which I STILL don't have a home for yet.


And I refuse to spend money and buy their silly stands. (Unless it comes with an exclusive costume keychain.... >_> )

Here's today's haul from Kinokuniya in San Francisco. Not everything is H!P-related, but all the items include idol-related stuff:



They were having their semi-annual-ish $2 magazine back issue sale, so I went a little crazy. There's actually more H!P in the mix than is apparent from the covers alone. The issue of CD Data with SCANDAL on the cover, for example, contains interviews with Yajima Maimi and Kikkawa You, as well as their usual Morning Musume｡'14 and "Reina's Music Style" corners. The issue of Quick Japan on the left, in addition to having Satoda Mai's hubby posing with his favorite idol group on the cover, contains interviews with Michishige Sayumi and Up Up Girls (Kari).

The CDs were also sale-priced. Those of you in the S.F. Bay Area should note that Kinokuniya S.F. have put the majority of their upstairs (non-anime) music on sale for 50% off. Not only CDs, but music DVDs and Blu-rays, as well. So if you've had your eye on anything in that section, chances are that it's now on sale. There are still about a dozen H!P-related items in stock, all of them 50% off.

I've been waiting nearly five years for them to slash the price on that Matsuura Aya CD. This was the first time I've bought a Sakura Gakuin CD; it contains a track by the now world-famous "重音部 BABYMETAL".

So I got Seishun/Yuugure/Ima really late (aka May 18th.) but I had a lot of CDJP points I had to use, so I used them on that.
thing is...
THEY STILL HAD EXTERNAL BONUS AND FIRST PRESS!!!!!
So I just opened it, and I got the Masaki card.
And a poster which I have no clue where to put now. LOL!
