Okay but Starra you don't know that. You are only saying "probably" "maybe" or "most likely". But you don't know for a fact that the MV version is the Big Chance version. You don't know that. You don't know that it's going to be more promoted that the H!P version. We've heard nothing to say that it will be. Personally I have no faith in H!P or UF at this point. I think they are going to favor their own version and honestly I feel like having their own version at all is stupid. And honestly I'm just as mad that H!P's PV are inconsistent and the majority of the time really bad. A cheap
PV makes the group look cheap. It says they put no effort or creativity into making it. Maybe other people don't care and think lives and events are more important but for other people PVs are one of the most important things. It's not just the PVs but it's the outfits too. It's about the image of the group and how they are shown to the world.

Just because the UFA version exists doesn't mean the other version suddenly doesn't exist? And what does "THe other one gets promoted more" MEAN anyway? Nowadays videos just get thrown up on Youtube and only like 30 second clips ever get shown on TV. When the Contest winners goes up on Youtube (WHich is will) if it's the "Better" PV, it will get more views and THEREFORE be the one that's promoted more.

Multiple versions of something isn't a bad thing. Hell, that exact idea worked out great for C-ute and their "50 versions of one song".

^^But this ISN'T their image. This MV is completely different from any other MV, and it doesn't make sense to show that. It's misleading. The dude won the contest and yeah they should be promoting his MV, but it's logical for them to have their own version.

The other MV seems too busy and overdone. That's not Morning Musume。. It works as a one off, but it's not their image. It's not them.

I'm not just saying that in a "BLARGH CHANGE!!!" way. If things change for the better, so be it. MV quality certainly has improved drastically over the years. If they change things for the better I'm all for it. But personally, this is fine.

To be fair, I get that people don't it when things are the same, and most of the time, H!P doesn't stay the same for long.

Personally, though, I don't mind the MV formula they have going. It (mostly) showcases the members and honestly, so long as it does that, I won't complain. Yeah, some girls get more closeups than others, but that happens when you have some members who sing more than others. The dislike of Karin's closeups certainly aren't unjustified -- I definitely dislike them too. They're not awful, but they just don't feel right to me.

Of course, people can complain, and will until the end of time. I just think it's worth noting that when something's been the same for well over a decade, I doubt it's gonna change. You don't have to like it, no, but it's there.

I think its just frustrating that UFP has the capacity, and money to produce better videos for fans (Wagamama/AinGundan) but would rather opt out to basic routines because they can get away with it. These are 3 basic studio PVs, that just fall short of being a "top" idol group MV that you'd associate with being a group that sells 130k+ per release, which is the difference between them and Lantis and other lesser idol groups (who do produce better PVs btw, Stylips have great MVs). It's just gotten to a point where they have quickly exhausted the same PV format that they've used since 2013.

I like Yuugure wa Ameagari but this concept has been severely exhausted among idols. I.e, Momoiro Clover's Momoiro Punch with the exception of a tree. So I'm not exactly going to defend the video if it does get criticised for being plain.

Those (Wagamama and Gundan) had the same formula really, though. They just masked it with nice backgrounds .

Like I said, I realise why people are complaining, but I feel like until we have the full versions we shouldn't judge.

We should be glad we're getting different versions at all.

As long as the girls look good, the dancing is nice to watch, the song is awesome, and the camera angles are overall fine... I'm okay.

Having not seen any other lone sakura tree videos, I actually felt that Yuugure is on par with Wagamama and Gundan. In fact, since I first saw it, I was getting huge Ai no Gundan vibes from this video. I also noticed that like Koko Kara, it has very well used special effects. This video doesn't look cheap at all in my opinion. Actually other than the confusion I like the video a lot.

Seishun on the other hand reminds me of Password is 0 for some reason.. maybe the outfits (which are blinding haha). I really like the dance for Seishun. I can't wait for the dance shot to see it in full.
