Yeah I found the button that says the rate when I saw your old post (I started going back to the old posts again, because before when I did it, I didnt understand a lot of the terms so it just went over my head, now I understand em XD)

Going back...what the heck, the skill cap is Lv.15??? I've been capping at Lv.10 all this time!!! Also, the whole Lv.8 being hard to pass thing, I literally gave my SR Maimi a team full of C-ute Rs and R Zukki a team full of Normal HTs and they just ate it up (They're both at Lv.10 appeal Lv.8 Unit and stayed that way T.T it only took around 2~3 "full meals" to get them up to that point though, but now they're just eating for fun...GLUTTONY I SAY!) *sigh*

The Lv15 cap is just a glitch because seem like it doesn't help you get any bonus more than Lv10. Though Team Unit Skill is combine of total Unit SKill in your team, and it need 90 Lv to get Team Unit Skill Lv10, but you have 9 members in team, so just need to raise all their Unit Skill to Lv10, not need Lv15 anyway. :P

By the way, now you can't get higher than Lv10 anymore, so don't try to waste your card.

...I'd keep feeding until you get your Unit up to 10 though. :P
and yeah, it's gluttony! They just keep eating and eating forever and it takes so long to get them from 8 to 9 to 10. >.<

ok so i'm gonna post this before DAC does to save him time:
IF you are looking for a high-scoring team, you're gonna wanna do as follows:
For the top row, put in a bunch of girls from the same group. This allows for a higher group combo (like, yours says "ganbatte ikimasshoi lvl 6)
The best stage appeal skill to have in the front row is High Tension/Heat Up. (High Tension increases points for that character for a few seconds, while Heat Up increases points for every member for a few seconds.)
Try to have more R + in your team, they get more points.
If you notice, each character has a "fan" points thingy so whenever there is a fever, that somehow gets taken into account... You want to have the one with the highest that (in your case your SSR) in the middle, or near the middle, to the ones that probably get more notes hit.
In general, if you can, you should try to get random characters that have Heat Up or High Tension in the back row if they aren't part of a certain group.

So to summarize, front row try to do as followed:
Either all Berryz, C-ute, J=J, MM, Sm. R and N do not compliment each other in the top row for the unit appeal, though. R, SR, SSR do. (meaning don't put an N in the top row if the rest are R because that doesnt' affect the until appeal.)

...Other than that, idk what else to say.
Also move your hcaracter down to the bottom.

...DAC will probably come here and now explain why I explained this terribly and explain it better because he's the master explainer. c:
No Berryz, No Life.

...double post, sry, but I'm only at 11,760 points. how the hell did you guys get to 25k already?! I play 6 times a day, on average.. that's about 1200 points per day... not enough to get to 25k but I should get close...

Lemme try to help too! I'll try and sum up ^^ and add some more things

1) Try to use idols from the same group on the front row
2) If you have girls with no Stage Appeal, they should be in the back instead of the front row
3) Your "My Idol" shouldn't be in the front, or so everyone keeps saying...
4) Being in the center/next to center lane guarantees more notes hit than on the side lanes, so put your best girls there
5) Try to replace your remaining N-idols with R-idols
6) Try to have idols with High Tension (or Heat Up, which is even rarer to find...) and put them on the front row

Steps:
1) For now, you should probably fish for some Rs.
You do this by performing lives (recommended: Normal or Hard), and performing well (recommended: S or SS rank)
At the end, you sometimes get idols, some which are Rs, so that's good. Sometimes can also get Friend Points.
Use the friend points to fish for more Rares (100 friend points = 1 idol in the Friend Gacha, so try and rack up 1,000 and use the 10x Friend Gacha, because I never pull Rs in a 1x gacha, so I always do 10x and almost always atleast 1 R girl in a batch of Ns, possibly 2 maybe even 3. I've gotten 5 / 10 to be rares on occasion XD)
2) When you got the Rs and made a team, you should focus on leveling their skills. You do this through training.
You basically fuse your idol with other idols that have the same skill as the idol you want to train.
Take the idol you want to train, and pick 10 other idols to be sacrifice for the idol empowerment ritual (yes i'm making terms up, shhh)
Those 10 idols should have atleast 1 of the 2 of their skills (Stage Appeal and or Unit Skill) to be the same so that you have a CHANCE of raising your chosen idol's skill level.
If they dont, don't bother...
You sacrifice Ns and Rs for your Rs.
You sacrifice your Ns to your Rs only if they have a Stage Appeal that's the same to the R, aside from that you cant really use them...
You sacrifice your Rs to your Rs if they have the same Stage Appeal, or the same Unit Skill, or both (in which case it'd be a clone and you'd be performing LIMIT BREAK)
Limit Break is basically a way to increase your idol's max level. You do this by sacrificing an exact clone of the card to that card (may be performed up to 5 times, any other time it wont increase the max level anymore, but can still be used to increase your idol's skill)
3)...I guess when you've got the hang of Rs you should get your SR's and SSRs skilled up, which is the exact same method for Rs except you can no longer use Ns for them (Ns and SRs/SSRs dont have similar skills at all...iirc)

Ok, that's the best I can do...i'm still learning myself, esp. this whole group formation thing.

^ I play when I can. My max is 164, so usually if i'm full, I just play 3 lives on Hard on a 50 and thats 600 points, that's like around 5~8 minutes of playing time. Then I wait 2.5 hours and if i'm in school i'm probably at a break by then, or if i'm at home i'll break from homework/whatever i'm doing and play another around of 600, and etc. the process goes on.
Also, I went a bit hard core (if it could be considered that) and set my phone's alarm for 2.5 hrs later every time I finish playing 3 lives so that I can remind myself when my life's replenished lol
I always have my phone with me so I never miss it when the alarm goes off. I take like a 5 minute break on whatever im doing and just play 3 lives and there goes another 600.
As you can see, I dont do much of anything else, and it's been awhile since I've been hooked on any game, so this is "the game" to focus on for me atm haha

Edit: I think the IOS finally has their update, I just checked the update log when I played on the Android and it has an update for 3/11/2015 with the description having "(ios)" on it

Specifically if your looking to make a Morning Musume team:

Front Row:
Sakura R, Harunan R, Kanon SSR (Good card!), Mizuki R, Kanon R.
Sakura because you like her (:P), the rest have High Tension.

Back row: Kana R (For heat up), My idol (With heat up), any one else you want (Probably Riho R since she has an ability)

So I wonder if anyone who understands the mechanics of this game can explain this...
I have five R-or-higher C_ute members, all with thier unit skill maxed. This was my team, with combined unit score of 9, not too shabby!!

Image

Then, I got the Yuka SSR! Time to add her to my team! But wait...
Image

Removing Captain from my team lowered my unit skill score to 8? But she's a Berryz member. What gives?
(I should say, this happens when I replace Chinami as well.)

Isnt that Risako o.o
Also, the thing about the Unit Skill is that the game has a certain formula to choosing WHICH unit skill to base the ENTIRE team from, meaning depending on who has priority in the team, the team becomes so and so unit skill.

C-ute's unit skill took priority because 1) you have SR maimi in the front and center position, and 2, the total # of levels of C-ute unit skill you have probably exceeds any other combination in your current formation, so C-ute's unit skill becomes THE unit skill.

Now, based on that, the unit skill level of ALL your idols (even the none C-ute members) contribute to the overall unit skill level of your group. Each time you pass 9 levels, it equals 1 total unit skill lv. E.g. if all 9 of your idols had lv.5 unit skills (excluding My Idol), you have a total of 45 lvs, meaning you have a 45/9 = 5 Unit Skill Level for the group.

Basically, im assuming the Risako you took out had a higher unit skill level than Yuka, which should be LV1 atm unless you already trained her. Whatever Risako contributed to the group unit skill was enough to cause a change in lv, so that when you swapped it for the lesser unit skill Yuka, your overall unit skill dropped 1.

So...train Yuka's, or anyone else's, unit skill to get your lost point back XD

I...hope that wasnt as confusing as I think it could be...
