I'm pretty sure my oshi is gonna wind up being Hamachan, but honestly, I'm holding back on my opinion. I've seen lots of people saying things like "I only like this one girl" (not just you, AH) and it's like... we've hardly seen them interact as a group. We have their announcement stuff and first performance and that's it, and people are acting like their opinions are already set in stone.
Like, if you actively follow the KSS, sure. Cool. But Rei and Hirose are so fucking new that I feel like people should wait to see how they do before definitely deciding things. Not to mention that a lot of times, KSS/Eggs change (slightly) after they debut. So imo it's not really fair.
Not saying people can't have oshis already, and if you do that's fine, but I feel like every time new members debut/KSS are promoted everyone suddenly has a new favourite.
I know I started freaking out about Ogata instantly, but I didn't oshihen from Ayumi... I love her a LOT, but I don't know enough about her for her to be a top-tier oshi yet. Obviously you can love the newbies, but people are declaring all these new faves and that is what I have an issue with. Like, you've been following these groups for years, you have your faves, but then suddenly someone new joins and that fave member of yours is no longer your top girl? I'd wait a bit, because I dunno girls change a lot even a year after they've joined.
Also, otaku_blue (and others maybe) have stated how disjointed this group looks... Please, no group will ever look as "random" as Berryz
