[4/15] Morning Musume。'15 58th single "Seishun Kozou ga Naiteiru / Yuugure wa Ameagari / Ima Koko Kara"

The gap still feels bigger with 6th gen though, even if just because MM released Hyokkori /and/AS FOR ONE DAY in 2003 before they did Shabondama. Despite that 6th gen had joined in January already. I totally understand why though and it makes sense but. Still feels more "woah" than this does, even if by counting days and all, this took longer.

I can't really comment on 6th gen because that's around the time I joined so I wasn't as active in the community as I am now. Not going to lie though, I totally ignored the existence of Hyokkori and AS FOR ONE DAY so for me it kind of felt longer in that respect. But in reality I would agree with Sohee if that wasn't the case. Morning Musume back then only have one song to show, while now they are going out and promoting 1-3 songs. So in a sense it did feel shorter, when it reality it was longer. Oh and I feel now a days UF really goes out of there way to bring them in during concerts and let them communicate with the fans more so than they did with older generations. But I don't know, that's one thing I can't really talk about since I wasn't around so I have no idea if 6th gen made daily appearances at concerts before being brought out at Kei's graduation. But it really does feel like they are going for that same type of generational showcase. (All these words sounded SO much better in my head but I hope you get what I'm failing miserably in trying to say. xD)

Can someone remind me why 6th gen weren't in Hyokkori or AS FOR ONE DAY?
I know why this single took so long to get 12th gen debuted, but why did 6th gen take so long?

Yeah, that's probably why. Most likely, they wanted to start fresh with 6th gen.

My guess is that, since Miki had had prior training, they wanted the other 3 girls to at least catch up somewhat to her level (which, y'know, but). I know Miki was included in 6th gen events and all that, but I bet behind the scenes the 3 non-Miki girls had extra training.
