I've lost plenty of music over the years to know if I like a song enough, get a hard copy of it.

With my backup regimen, I'm not worried about losing any files. It would take an EMP to wipe me out (and maybe not even then, if the safe deposit where I store my monthly offsite backup provides enough shielding). But in the event of an EMP, I would have bigger things to worry about.
