according to news reports and Satoda Mai's announcement, the Itooshikutte gomen ne / Koi Doboro has been changed to a major debut release with Momochi included. I knew Momoko would be more involved then just a producer, it doesn't seem like she wants to leave the industry yet despite her having the teaching backup. It's good for the group because they can ride on her popular and it's good for Momoko because now she knows what exactly she's going to do after Berryz and have a reason to keep being invited to those variety shows.


I've always had a love/hate relationship with Momoko. Her cute squeaky adorableness was one of the reasons I got into Berryz in the first place, and she always seemed like she was really dedicated to the idol persona. On the other hand she can be really really obnoxious in that idol persona too and that grates on my nerves. I like her. But I don't her. It's a struggle.

Momoko/Momochi is meant to be a love-hate relationship. I always considered her an idol you love to hate, which is my POV in why she's so popular.

I'm hoping that she will tone down the 'Momochi' character for this group. Now that BK is disbanding, I'd like to see her without pigtails and using her Buono voice.
