I think that Cinderella was Kanon's character's transformed form in the the Anime that her, Dawa and Yuuka did, Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri.

She says she thinks she's Cinderella reincarnated. Never mind the fact that Cinderella is a fictional character and therefore cannot actually be reincarnated, she's never really explained if it's either a) a literal statement, b) a metaphor for how she feels as a teenage girl, c) a metaphor for how she feels as a relatively popular idol, d) a reference to Lilpri, e) a deliberately crafted schtick to get her noticed as a talent, or f) all of the above. Pick whichever one you like.

Kanyon shouldn't worry and either should Dawa.
Even if a new girl older than her gets in, the new girl should have enough self-concience and respect to say that she want Dawa to stay a leader after all she did within S/mileage.

In other words; just a character. They've mentioned on shows that she's trying damn hard to keep it up too.

Sohee has already explained it, but.. It would have been impossible for it to have been a reference to her character on "Lilpri" anyway.

Yuuka's character was the "Cinderella" girl, Ayaka's character was the "Snow White" girl, and Kanon's character was the "Kaguya-hime" girl.
