^I can tell you that, since my dad works music, it does not take a week or two. xD
First of all, the song itself takes some time... The shooting might take 2-3 weeks, if you want ot make it fast. o.o
If they start now, they could maybe squeeze it out in time. xD

Shooting takes that long? Wow...
I mean, with H!P, I thought all they needed to do was go to a location (if not a location, then making a set, or both) and film the girls dance a few times (probably more than "a few" )
Then film them individually for solo shots.
Then take the rest of the time editing and making the video nice (subbing + effects and whatnot)
I'm pretty sure they've already decided on the song and had it recorded at this point, and they've probably rehearsed the dance too.

What? No. Music videos take one (full) day. Sometimes two days, if you work on a bigger scale. Overseas it's maybe different depending, but in Japan that's how it's done.
What takes time is editing. But even that, Japan is at top speed with. We could have a music video done within a week if necessary.

If you mean the editing, then say the editing. The "shooting" is the actual shoot which usually only takes a day.
But even so, in Japan they work ridiculously fast. If they wanted it done in a week, they'll make it within a week. It depends entirely on what they want and how strict they are with checks and such. We know Tsunku was very strict with... Wakuteka, was it? Or One Two Three, maybe. I don't remember.
