is this about the art? its just as accurate as AKB0048, and you're expecting too much if you're hoping for them to be distinguishable/exact replica of the real thing.

otaku_blue: It's not at all about them looking like the girls, though that would be nice. It's me questioning the obvious differing levels of quality and the mixed styles. Some of them were ridiculous to me in the group images, and it's furthered here when comparing the individual pictures available. It doesn't make a lot of sense, especially for a game like this where it looking polished and pretty is a chunk of the appeal.

I'm going to drop it from here. I can't play the game anyway, so it's not as if I'll have to look at it a lot.

it might be a team or artists rather than one? I get what you mean by the art looking different and can come off as inconsistent.

That and better cards, have better art, better character designs I assume. Its the incentive push to buy more characters.

If it's like the way Love Live works, the more common Normal and un-Idolised Rare cards are lower quality artwork (not too terrible though). But if you want the amazing looking stuff you've got to Idolise your characters or get the Ultra Rare ones, so I'm guessing this is going to work in a similar way.

EDIT:

^ Haha yes I guess we're thinking the same thing.

Started playing the game. So far it seems really simplified compared to Love Live, only five buttons to press and there's very little if any instructions XD So far I'm enjoying the story mode however. Maachan popped up and was very Maachan like. The quality in general is kinda iffy... but it's totally worth it to play rhythm games to H!P music and to enjoy some H!P self-insertion LOL

APK file is available at H!O's tracker, for those Android overseas fans that want to play~

It may or may not work for you. A Japanese VPN might need to be involved--I haven't tried it yet.

EDIT: Ok, it installed fine on my phone. Usernames can only be 5 characters? I guess I'm BOINS. :hehe:

There's a PC program called AndroidCentral Sideload Wonder Machine that works really well. However, I don't know if the 160 MB of game data will dl properly. boinsie, did you have a problem?
