I started replaying Guitar Hero I recently. I noticed that I have easily surpassed high scores in the easy and medium mode. However, this was because I didn't care about those modes back in the day and spent a lot of time grinding out ridiculously high scores in expert mode.

Can I surpass old records? Only time will tell.

watched Princess Kaguya. I always wanted to see it ever since i was in Japan last year. its a good movie. the English voice acting felt weird but it got better later on.

I've been wanting to see that. Unfortunately it isn't playing anywhere near me, so it'll probably end up on the Christmas wish list. The DVD will be better anyway, for the simple fact that I'll probably be able to watch with subtitles. I don't mind dubs sometimes, but this is one movie where I'd prefer not bothering with one.

^ The more of it they show, the more conventional it looks.

They're showing both the dubbed and subbed versions here. I normally go to bargain matinees during the weekend, but since they're only showing the dubbed version for the bargain matinees, I had to change my routine. XD I understand why they did it that way, though: little kids are more likely to be at matinees than nighttime screenings.

i went to see the dubbed one nearby. They had one subbed version, but that was in Hollywood only. I went to the matinee and all kinds of people came to see it, hipsters, skateboard kids, old folks, parents, little kids. a little girl who sat in front of me, cried throughout the movie. when the movie ended, she was a sad wreck.
