Why Maria is after Akane ? Akane is the younger... é.é She is a sempai for Maria in Kenshuusei ?

Probably simply because Maria is Sayu's favorite and Sayu wanted to announce her last.

Omg they're just so cute! Akane's reaction was the best. And I really like hearing that members have been fans for a while or tried out for different auditions. Haruna definitely called Maria and Akane Kenkyuusei though. ;

Can't wait for more footage.

This has to be one of the happiest and most adorable gens ever. They're all hopping around with giant grins on their faces. Haruna has a glorious smile when she's really happy. Maria's reaction had me in tears. She was just so happy and tears kept coming while she talked.

Haruna being slightly starstruck at the Kenshuusei was hilarious. 'I know who you are. I've seen you on HaroSute... ' and the fact that she had watched HaroSute also is amazing.

It could also be because she's one of the most popular kenshuusei. Kind of like a "saving the best for last" thing.

The more I see Akane, the more Kumai I see in her.

I'd like to have seen some performance footage of Maria and Akane, but so far I'm pleased with the 12ki choices.

Great footage, I cannot but simply agree that this generation is amazing. Not only that the girls are so unique between them four already (though many of you have said that they look a lot-alike and I still can't find why), but they're also unique respect the rest of the older members. Emmm such a good choice. Awesome awesome )-D

What I, at least, actually said was "There's not nearly as much variation as there was in the 9th and 10th Gens."

And I still believe it to be true: as a group, they look more alike than previous generations did.

But of course, I said that immediately after they were announced. Now we're all becoming more familiar with them, so we're learning their more subtle differences, so it's not an issue anymore, so there's no need to bring it up again.

A thought: Sayu is the only leader to know and meet the audition winners before they were officially announced.
