Yeah it kind of sucks that the competition was so strong. Are they at least up for 2nd on oricon? I'm just glad they beat TokiSora overall sales in the first week. (That's assuming second day sales are 17,000 like they predicted) And I hope that by the end of the week the sales will be comparable to Wagamama and Egao. It doesn't really bother me that they lost #1 so long as these sales stay strong. The streak had to end eventually and they've done an awesome job. I am really crossing my fingers that they get #2. Don't want them falling too far down the list.

tonight the workers took down the Shibuya station wall posters.

Duu was the last one.

Sayu's remained untouched, i'm not sure if they took it down as well.

I found a positive side to this situation. They dropped a bit with Sayu's last single, but the next time they'll hit #1, MM '15 will be able to say they did it without their senpai's help.

Thanks Amped! The link isn't working but TIKIBUN and it's instrumental can be bought if you search Morning Musume '14 and then go to songs. I just bought it.

While The Natsu Style's guess of 17k for the second day would be great, they've always tended to over-guess ... and I prefer to conservatively estimate. So, with that, here are my estimates so far.
1. Kanjani8 - 261,901
2. Morning Musume. '14 ~ 133,000 (12k day 2, 3500 day 4, 3000 day 5)
3. Sandaime J Soul Brothers ~ 113,000 (6k day 3, 3k day 4) [NS has estimated 119,235]
4. Sekai no Owari ~ 101,600 (60k day 1) [NS has estimated 86,145]

I think a weekly #2 is looking good, whether you base guesses off Natsu Style or not - so long as Exile Tribe doesn't have a random spike and MM don't drop down the charts like a dead fly.
