Sexy Zone and French Kiss have gone down too. I think Moning Musume could have sold more than Sexy Zone this week.

The difference is that the other 2 members doesn't even participate /at all/. It is new.
it's not "the other two are in the back" they're not even /in/ the single.
Which probably meant that the fans of those 2 members didn't buy the single, I'd guess. Or at least some didn't.

I think J=J might just be losing a bit of their initial steam from being a new group, but honestly, this single came REALLY soon after the last and was overshadowed by Morning Musume and even S/mileage news the week of its release. I mean we even hardly posted much in here for a while, and that really wasn't the case the singles before.

That all being said, it also explains why one of my wota friends was begging me to come meet her at the Selcy event, I was trying to get stuff done so declined her, but now I feel pretty bad about it if that was the turnout. The typhoon hadn't really been THAT bad during the event time (Osaka didn't truly get hit till past midnight)

J=J are really solid, though, so I think these low sales are more of a fluke than anything, they just need to push out of the "new group" thing and actually push themselves and get themselves noticed.

that. and they need to get these girls on TV more promoting their personalities and whatnot.

even 2nd gen S/mileage got more variety work.

They honestly didn't promote this single that well, especially with the other H!P news that's been going on.

I mean, the songs are good, but they're nothing new or noteworthy.

Gotta top up the juice every now and then, tbh.

(It's still a good amount for a group to sell and all, but their sales have been declining... UF just aren't promoting them, and it's showing.)
