No matter how I go about it, I find it upsetting that people think Akane looks like Sayumi. Sayumi was then, and is now still much cuter.
I don't even see a slight resemblance.
Lol at the ranma reference Yattaruchan tho.

Now to wait till next year for when shit gets serious with the new members~

I think that, like Sakura and Zukki, Miki will be more popular among non-Japanese fans. She can speak English, and she'll probably be the "foreigner" of the group so international fans will identify to her. As a kikokushijo (帰国子女, child who has returned to her country), I expect her to be the least popular member of her generation in Japan. It's sad.

Going around forums, pretty much the only negative comment I've read about the outcome of his audition so far was made by an expected doomster so I think 12th gen is well-accepted among fans.

Alright! I love the the result because:

I am a BIG figure skating fan, so Ogata's figure skating experience mean she should be physically solid and have good rhythm and good expressiveness. I am very glad she decided she want to be an idol because not having triple - triple combination jumps these days mean you are out of figure skating career. Okay. I don't think anyone here follow me.

Nonaka is going to fill a long awaited english skill for the group. She is a obviously a smart girl from a financially good family. And oh god, I really want to see the return of English Surprise Lesson with her and the current 2 smart girls: Sakura and Maachan. Ohhh, she could help MM manager a lot with Maachan's homework! And I am very optimistic about her "ear copy" special skill. That could mean she can sing whatever she hear with the right pitch.

Akane was very very young in the previous audition and is still very young. I don't have much recollection of her from her KSS day, but getting pick mean she has potential.

Maria is just damn cute. If she grow a bit taller she could be the model of the group. She seems like an airhead baka. And watching KSS video I think her problem is really just rhythm.

This will be an interesting gen.
