Also I think that Ayaka and Kanon may have less anxiety about adding new members because they will be adding them on their own terms. Its a very different experience to have control over something happen rather than having it forced on you. Perhaps they also had a big hand in choosing what members to add. I hope they add another 4 <3

I'm happy for 3rd gen but a new name seems kind of weird. I mean what about all the fans and recognition that they've received with the name "S/mileage" does that all go down the drain now? It seems so unnecessary (also S/mileage is probably the best Hello!Pro group name ever made)

Since all the new members are from KSS, I wonder if that means there won't be any KSS in Momusu's 12th gen.

Well since KSS are joining S/mileage I think I will be much less disappointed if no KSS join Morning Musume. So this announcement is actually pretty comforting in that respect.

Since they said they will be adding members from KSS I don't think these girls are eligible. However, It would be awesome if they ended up joining KSS afterwards.

MM had their audition first so this announcement actually has no bearing at all with whether a KKS made it in or not. They probably hadn't even made their choices as to who among the KKS will be added. I imagine there would be some sort of process for it.
