I just got my copy of Mano's ZERO photobook.

The content is great: it's Mano, she looks as beautiful, cute, hot, pretty,... as you would imagine.
Lots of variety and great shots all round.

But allow me to say something about the quality of the book itself.
I have a shelf of PB's behind me and this may very well be the best put together photobook I've bought so far.

It's hardcover (Mano has never had a softcover apart from Mano Nano), about the size of Sayuminglandoll, just a tad bigger, but twice as thick.
Actual shots of Mano on the hard cover instead of just on the dustcover.
Gorgous shiny paper, there's a real heft to it. I feel like I should be wearing gloves just to handle it.
Even the making-of manages to pass the 16 minutes mark, which is a lot compared to discs included with some other PB's.

I know full scans of this PB are out in the wild already.
I pity the person who had to tear apart his/her copy to scan them.

100% recommended.

^I'm waiting for Haruka's PB to come out, but then I'm not going to get it until I get it in conjunction with another purchase (either a CD or another PB...) because of the insane shipping *^*
Since Mano really isn't H!P anymore, do you think it could be that that could affect the quality of the book?

No, it's Wani Books that handles most of the PB's.
They don't care who has graduated or not.

It helps that Mano's PB's and DVD generally sell well, and she's been featured a lot in the online Wani Books Gravure collections.

YES the quality of the photobook is amazing. Not only the physical packaging but I was actually really impressed with the photos (first look through i was completely distracted by mano..naturally) usually I just pay attention to the idol but the locations were amazing, especially the "country" setting. So beautifully shot, the photographers are really talented. I hope she and other H!P/associated acts work with them again.

^ She isn't with a different company though? She's still part of Up Front.

Same company but she has a different manager? I know each H!P group has their own manager. Overseer? The one that books the gigs. And it's not a producer. My brain just isn't working this morning, I know someone knows what I mean?

Mano Erina is part of Up-Front Works (like everyone else)
http://www.up-front-works.jp/artistlist/62/index.html

Specifically she's under the Just Pro division (which also has Gaki, Koharu, Miki,...)

Most of her management is still done by Manetty

Another HMV order arrived today:

Image

Girls Beat!! – Mada, Yareru (CD single)
THE POSSIBOOOOO – 1116 (CD album)

The HMV website didn't mention any first press extras, so the Girls Beat!! postcard and THE POSSIBOOOOO trading card were pleasant surprises. :D

The Girls Beat!! single, like the previous one, also came with a serial number card. Apparently you get 3 points for spending ¥500, so I now have 12 points, as soon as I've registered them online. I need to do some research to find out what the points are good for, and whether they have any value at all for slobs like me who live outside of Japan.
