As much as I would like Haruna as leader, I think Mizuki has longevity and more of a passion for the group than Haruna. Or maybe we can have them both be leaders, add in three new girls and bring back The Gumis! I like that option!

Yay! A poll! I'm voting for Mizuki. Mizuki not only in senior to the 10th gen, but she was an egg so she's senior to everyone in her experience. I adore Haruna though so I would not mind a Co-leadership. If co-leadership is impossible tho I'm really hoping for Mizuki and Haruna still as a sub-leader. They can still co-lead with Haruna as a sub-leader.

I find it interesting that most people suggest Haruna because of her leadership qualities and most people suggest Mizuki because of seniority.

Personally the fact that they were appointed as co-sub-leaders has always been a rather out of the ordinary move to begin with. Haruna went over the rest of the 9kis to get that spot. Management and publicity seems to give both of them equal turns in some ways to be leader-like, though Haruna makes more of it than Mizuki currently... because of that I'm still of the mindset that a Co-Leadership is going to be the most likely. But they also might have done it so that they could easily give Haruna sub-leadership without the 9kis being upset later.

Haruna's age may also be a factor in that management thinks she'll be the next to graduate so she'll be appointed leader next and then Mizuki and Ikuta will get leader/sub

Personally I want to see Haruna being a leader, she just has that leadership quality to her

I just think being the biggest H!P fan within H!P is a good qualification to become the leader.

I see Haruna as a great older sister. Don't see her as a good leader for a group of the size/history/responsibility as Morning Musume, at all.
Mizuki has stepped up her game ridiculously much the past few months, however. You can tell when she gives comments and answers in interviews, there's been a big change.
Having that said, seniority should be a factor that matters.

I don't have a strong opinion either way, but Fukumura seems like she'd be a much more boring leader, so I'd prefer Iikubo to get it.

However, I foresee Fukumura being given the role. She just has too much seniority for H!P to overlook.
