You know, back in the day before all the H!P members had blogs and before Haruna and Ayaka made it respectable to push oneself as part of a combi, shipping did have a point. Back then if you wanted to see a picture of your favorite combi together with lots of "love love" and hearts decorating the photo you had to use photoshop. If you wanted to read heartwarming stories of your favorite combi doing things together you either had to read or write fanfiction.

Yes, today shipping is rather pointless since the H!P idols now do all the work for us, but shipping hasn't always been pointless.
