I think it is the most important overseas live concert for the Japanese entertainment world this year, as it is the first full-scale, admission-charging live concert by a Japanese female idol group in such a topnotch showbiz city.

BABYMETAL just did a sold-out show in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago. Either he didn't know about it, or he doesn't consider them idols, or he doesn't consider Los Angeles "a topnotch showbiz city".

They had a professional wrestling segment, complete with pre-match interviews, pageantry filled entrances, an intimation segment/dance & sing off, leading to a rumble inside of a wrestling ring ending with everyone knocked down. The payoff of all this was they sang Tachiagirl (get up girl) together.

Definitely not what you would expect during an idol concert.
