Tbh I don't blame AKB for the multiple JAV debuts because Japan has such a huge AV industry that if you have hundreds of former members floating about then it's just a statistical inevitability that one or two (or several) will go that way.

It's still sad though.

Some people are pointing out (and quoting 2chan) that it's not her, that it's someone who auditioned but didn't make it, that it's a hoax and unconfirmed etc, etc.

I personally think that it's her partly because she's not the first former 48G member to do it and because why would they (whoever connected her to HKT) make the connection if she's just some hopeful who didn't make it? Thousands of girls fail idol auditions, I doubt anyone would make a big deal about them unless they were actually a member.

I agree. They don't even mention how many auditions idols failed before winning one since (I bet but can't confirm) that I bet for girls of a certain age living in Tokyo everyone know someone who has tried to be an idol.

Oku came up in conversation on another thread. She was my co favourite idol with Sayaka. Oku was one on those idols that never fully realised her talent but still shined at everything she did. For her fans it helped that she was one of the boss's favourites
