So, in preparation for the new Sailor Moon, I've been watching the original series. Now, I'm aware that Crystal is meant to be an adaptation of the manga, but I'd never really watched the original anime, so I figured I needed to fix that.

I'm only 19 episodes in (I'm lazy as fuck), but I'm enjoying it so far. It's early days, but I think my favourite Senshi (not counting the ones who haven't shown up yet) is Mars, and I also like Mercury. I'm hoping I'll warm up to Moon, because she's been kind of annoying, but I hear she stops being so whiny later on. I don't dislike her, it's just that I'm never usually a fan of characters like her. I want to like her though!

I don't think it's gonna end up as one of my favourites (it's just not my preferred genre), but I totally get why lots of people love it, and I'm totally gonna check out Crystal when it airs.

Also, Nephrite is creepy and I do not like him at all.

Usagi gets more tolerable towards S/SuperS imo. xD Nephrite was so cute though, even though he WAS creepy ahahaha. As you get further in, the series will get better though. Black Moon Family *_* There you can talk about creepy. (

Yeah, the singing is bad. The song itself sounds like it could be awesome though. I hope the voice actresses will cover it eventually.

Haha, to be fair I've only ever seen the first two seasons... in English . So I'm obviously gonna refrain from having too many opinions, since I know things change .

I've honestly been wanting to watch it for ages, but with Crystal it made me actually have a reason, lol.
